And God Said; "Let There Be Light!" And There Was
True or false ... Death is a psychological ailment that inflicts not the actual victim, but those around them.
Let's examine this further. When a loved one dies, who is in grief? The dead or the living? The person who has passed is obviously not in grief for they have no way of grieving! They're, well .. they're dead, so how is it possible for them to grieve? Then there's that fact about reincarnation and 'passing on'. Passing on to where? In the Catholic faith that would be either heaven or hell. In other religions, it's to be reincarnated into a squirrel or someone else's newborn. Let us recap and return to the view of the mourning. They believe their loved one is dead, but they also believe that their loved one has 'passed on', so why the tears? If you know that they have passed on to the higher plane or to another life, then they aren't really dead in the first place. They have done what so many animals do. They have shedded their skin and formed another. Of course we will never know if that fact is true, I just like to believe it. So my answer is, True.
Happy Belated Valentine's Day! I didn't have a Valentine, but that's ok. Mike felt like joking around and he was acting all weird on the thirteenth. He was randomly talking about my heart belonging with him and then he asked me to be his Valentine. I am no fool, I will not succumb to old feelings that will never come alive again. So I told him, 'Suuuuure, why not! But don't expect to get anything from me...' Ha! I will fight fire with water and water with earth! The only thing that's useful about Valentine's Day is chocolate and cinnamon hearts, all you can eat! That's just plain yummy.
