Legacies Of The Love Ski
I just submitted my lovely piece of work of a diary (haha) to yet another review site. That list over there is slowly growing larger. Gasp! I may need to put in an extra page for it! We shall see what we shall see. Anyway, in the scoring for this one as far as content goes, she doesn't want to hear about people washing their socks. Now, I can understand this, but really now ... Don't you think it's nice that people wash their socks? I mean, imagine if noone washed their socks. Wouldn't that be minutely disgusting? No, that would be really disgusting. If nobody washed their socks?! Gross! So maybe somebody talking about washing their socks isn't such a bad idea. Just think how much cleaner our world would be if people washed their socks more!
And so, with no further ado, the 2002 Olympic winter games have begun! I am really excited about this. Especially to see Elvis Stoiko perform for his last time in the Olympics. He truly is amazing, as is Kurt Browning of course. I just finished watching the women's moggles a while ago and I have to say I am a little bit disappointed. I really wanted Jen Hiel from team Canada to win. She's only eighteen and she has so much promise. She can even complete a three-sixty iron cross aire and then land perfectly to keep going! Amazing! I also wanted Aiko Uemera from team Japan to win something too. She was incredible, just zooming down the hill through those moggles like nothing, and her jumps ... They were really, really nice. She had really spiffy skis too! They were custom made I'm assuming since they had her name on them in nice lettering and little hearts because her name is 'Aiko' and 'Ai' means love in japanese. I'm also really excited for the acrobatic skiing. I've never seen that before and it looks really interesting to watch.
Speaking of skiing, I went yesterday for my school's annual ski day and I have to admit, the snow conditions were great. I got so much speed on the last run I felt like the wind! It was on a green circle no less! A beginner run! It was such an incredible feeling. I was carving so much on my turns and I felt so professional. It was just ... great.
