Ski, Like You've Never Skied Before!
I am very proud with my last entry, it was very productive and made me feel a little better about being singled out in a world of exclusive groups. You should go read it if you'd like to know how I think of the girls in my high school environment.
Today was a very good day. A lovely day I might add. Today, I went skiing. With my brand new skis none the less. I love skiing, I adore it. The freshly fallen snow nicely groomed on the trails. The speed, the intensity. It's incredible. I used to hate getting up in the morning to be at the ski hill on time for my lessons, but now that I don't have lessons, I don't seem to mind. It's like a winter ritual. Every Saturday I get up for seven thirty, put on my ski stuff and head up north. I can't believe it took me almost twelve years to figure it out. To actually find the freedom of skiing. I've been skiing ever since I was two and a half. Every since that very first day I set off on the slopes I have gotten up early on Saturday morning, missed the cartoons, missed the sleeping in, to do what? Speed down a hill with the wind rushing up to meet me, turning on the glistening surface of the snow, to ski! To just go out and ski! Go ahead and call me crazy, but you can't appreciate it until you try it. There's no possible way that you could. It's just ... indescribable.
